Bruno Paolo Lombardi graduated with honors from the Conservatory "Licinio Refice" in Frosinone, under the guidance of Maestro Alfredo Pucello. In 1981, not yet nineteen years old, he participated and won the competition of "Ottavino e Flauto" in the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma of RAI. Over the years he collaborated with the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Orchestra Sinfonica della Svizzera Italiana. He has performed under the guidance of the most prestigious conductors in Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Japan, Greece, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland. In the role of 1st flute he has played with the Orchestra di Roma della RAI, Orchestra del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, I Solisti Veneti, Roma Sinfonietta, Orchestra da camera di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra Italiana del Cinema, Orchestra Internazionale d'Italia, Orchestra Sinfonica dell'Europa Unita, Latina Philarmonia. From 1994 to 2007 he was a member of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in Turin and he taught flute in various Italian Conservatories: "Santa Cecilia" in Rome, "Licinio Refice" in Frosinone, "Nicola Sala" in Benevento and "Domenico Cimarosa" in Avellino. He currently teaches flute at the Conservatory "Lorenzo Perosi" in Campobasso.
